7. Explanation of the Technical Monitoring Committee and its role in guiding the cost estimate development and analysis

8. Description of the access to appropriate dataset(s) through NIAs data linkage support contract (MedRIC.info)

9. Plan for analyzing the data to develop estimates of costs, including direct and indirect costs

10. Strategy for disseminating the methods and findings of the project to the scientific community, including the composition of manuscripts, data briefs, and infographics

11. Plan for presenting the findings of the project to the scientific community

12. Proposal for administering pilot projects to support cost simulations assessing treatment and policy changes that would alter the cost of disease

13. Explanation of how the analytic code and products of this work will be shared with the research community

14. Budget breakdown, including estimated costs for personnel, data access, data analysis, dissemination, and pilot projects

15. Timeline for the project, including key milestones and deliverables

16. Qualifications and expertise of the applicant(s) or organization in conducting research on dementia and health economics.

CanExport SMEs

Amount of Funding

Up to 50% funding to a maximum $50,000 grant per project;
Applicants may receive up to 50% of eligible costs for up to $10,000 to $50,000 in grant funding per project;
The applicant is responsible for the remaining 50% of costs;
The annual CanExport contribution maximum is $99,999 (in the event of multiple projects approved in the same government fiscal year);
A group of related companies cannot receive >$200,000 in funding in a single fiscal year. Projects budgets should be between $20,000-100,000; and
Applicants can apply for funding multiple times as long as their prior CanExport application has been completed all reporting is finished.

CanExport SMEs

Eligible Applicants

To be eligible for the CanExport program, Canadian businesses must:

Maintain 1 to <500 full-time employees;
Earn annual revenues ranging from $100,000 to $100,000,000;
Be federally incorporated federally or classified as a limited liability partnership (LLP);
Create eligible project expenses of $20,000 or more; and
Be financially stable and able to pay all project expenses not covered by the program.
