Grant Title: Multipurpose Prevention Technology: Novel Systemic Options for Young Adults
Objective: The objective of this funding opportunity is to support the development of new and innovative long-acting systemic and non-systemic multipurpose prevention technologies (MPT). This grant aims to promote the development of MPTs that prevent HIV infection and pregnancy in adolescent and young women. The grant will support studies related to pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, safety, drug-drug interactions, as well as biobehavioral and behavioral/social studies to identify MPT end user preferences, factors influencing MPT use, and ways to promote increased MPT use in this target population.
