1. Investigator(s) name and contact information.

2. Title of the proposed Program Project.

3. Abstract summarizing the goals and objectives of the Program Project.

4. Specific aims of each research project within the Program.

5. Detailed description of the research design and methods for each project.

6. Timeline and schedule for completing each project.

7. Budget for the Program Project, including funding for each research project and the Administrative Core.

8. Justification for the requested budget and explanation of how the funds will be allocated.

9. Description of the expertise and qualifications of the research team.

10. Statement of the central theme, focus, and/or overall objective that the projects within the Program will address.

11. Explanation of how each project contributes to the central theme or objective.

12. Description of any collaborations or partnerships with other institutions or organizations.

13. Plan for disseminating and sharing the research findings.

14. Compliance with ethical guidelines and regulations for conducting research involving human subjects or animals, if applicable.

15. Letter(s) of support or collaboration from relevant stakeholders or organizations.

16. Relevant preliminary data or previous research findings that support the feasibility and potential impact of the proposed Program Project.

17. Statement of potential benefits and implications of the proposed research for cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, or control.

18. Description of any potential challenges or risks associated with the proposed research and plans to mitigate them.

19. Any additional information that is deemed necessary to support the application.

Up to 50% funding to a maximum $50,000 grant per project;
Applicants may receive up to 50% of eligible costs for up to $10,000 to $50,000 in grant funding per project;
The applicant is responsible for the remaining 50% of costs;
The annual CanExport contribution maximum is $99,999 (in the event of multiple projects approved in the same government fiscal year);
A group of related companies cannot receive >$200,000 in funding in a single fiscal year. Projects budgets should be between $20,000-100,000; and
Applicants can apply for funding multiple times as long as their prior CanExport application has been completed all reporting is finished.

To be eligible for the CanExport program, Canadian businesses must:

Maintain 1 to <500 full-time employees;
Earn annual revenues ranging from $100,000 to $100,000,000;
Be federally incorporated federally or classified as a limited liability partnership (LLP);
Create eligible project expenses of $20,000 or more; and
Be financially stable and able to pay all project expenses not covered by the program.
