1. Research project implementing early phase (Phase 0, I, and II) investigator-initiated clinical trials focused on cancer-targeted diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

2. Direct relevance to the research mission of the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD).

3. Consultation of NCI DCTD website to understand program goals, research priorities, and strategies to fight cancer.

4. Clinical trials that meet the National Institutes of Health (NIH) definition of a clinical trial (see NOT-OD-15-015 for details).

5. Specific clinical trial information as described in the FOA.

6. Phase III clinical trials in any area of cancer research are not sought and will not be supported through this FOA.
