- Research plan for identifying and testing biomarkers measurable in bodily fluids for early detection of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and precursor lesions

- Research plan for determining which pancreatic cysts are likely to progress to cancer

- Research plan for developing molecular and/or imaging-based approaches for screening high-risk populations for PDAC

- Research plan for using machine learning and computational approaches towards biomarker discovery and validation

- Research plan for conducting biomarker validation studies

- Plan for collecting longitudinal biospecimens for building a biorepository

- Plan for participating in collaborative activities with other PCDC-RUs and sharing ideas, biospecimens, and data within the Consortium

- Plan for utilizing support from the PCDC-MDCU in study design, protocol development, statistical analysis, coordination, harmonization, data management, and stewardship
