3. Description of the organization's experience and qualifications in providing foster care services

4. Description of the organization's ability to meet the needs of unaccompanied children in a community setting

5. Description of the organization's ability to provide quality care to unaccompanied children

6. Description of the organization's ability to provide residential care services in the least restrictive setting appropriate for the age and special needs of unaccompanied children

7. Description of the organization's ability to provide services to minors between the ages of 0-17 years, sibling groups, pregnant/parenting teens, and/or minors with special needs

8. Compliance with Flores v. Reno, Case No. CV 85-4544 RJK (C.D. Cal. 1996) (the Flores Settlement Agreement)

9. Compliance with pertinent federal laws and regulations

10. Compliance with ORR policies and procedures, including the ORR Policy Guide and Manual of Procedures

11. Review of ORR's policies, instructions, and procedures at the provided website (https://www.acf.hhs.gov/orr/policy-guidance/unaccompanied-children-program-policy-guide)

12. Entity legal business name and address validation ticket from SAM.gov system (start the process early to avoid interruptions in application submissions)

CanExport SMEs

Amount of Funding

Up to 50% funding to a maximum $50,000 grant per project;
Applicants may receive up to 50% of eligible costs for up to $10,000 to $50,000 in grant funding per project;
The applicant is responsible for the remaining 50% of costs;
The annual CanExport contribution maximum is $99,999 (in the event of multiple projects approved in the same government fiscal year);
A group of related companies cannot receive >$200,000 in funding in a single fiscal year. Projects budgets should be between $20,000-100,000; and
Applicants can apply for funding multiple times as long as their prior CanExport application has been completed all reporting is finished.

CanExport SMEs

Eligible Applicants

To be eligible for the CanExport program, Canadian businesses must:

Maintain 1 to <500 full-time employees;
Earn annual revenues ranging from $100,000 to $100,000,000;
Be federally incorporated federally or classified as a limited liability partnership (LLP);
Create eligible project expenses of $20,000 or more; and
Be financially stable and able to pay all project expenses not covered by the program.
