4. Justification for Sustainment: The applicant must provide a clear justification for why the informatics research resource should be maintained. This justification should explain how the resource has benefited the cancer research field and how it will continue to do so.
5. Benefits to the Cancer Research Field: The applicant must explain the benefits of the informatics research resource to the cancer research field. This should include the impact on cancer biology, treatment and diagnosis, early detection, risk assessment and prevention, cancer control and epidemiology, and/or cancer health disparities.
6. User Experience and Availability: The applicant must describe how they plan to improve the user experience and availability of the informatics tools and resources. This may include enhancing user interfaces, providing user support and training, or expanding the accessibility of the resources.
7. Assessment and Maximization of Value: The applicant must outline mechanisms for assessing and maximizing the value of the research resource to researchers. This may include strategies for evaluating user satisfaction, collecting feedback, and incorporating improvements based on user needs.
8. Collaboration and Engagement: The applicant must describe how they will support collaboration and deep engagement between the research resource and the targeted research community. This may include plans to foster partnerships, facilitate knowledge sharing, and promote use of the resource among researchers.
9. Budget: The applicant must provide a detailed budget for the proposed project, including itemized expenses for development, sustainability, and any other relevant costs. This budget should align with the scope and objectives of the project.
10. Project Team: The applicant must provide information about the team members involved in the project, including their qualifications, roles, and responsibilities. This should demonstrate that the project team has the necessary expertise and experience to successfully carry out the project.
11. Letters of Support: The applicant may include letters of support from stakeholders, collaborators, or users of the informatics research resource. These letters should demonstrate the value and impact of the resource
