Complete Summary: Describe proposal alignment with funding opportunity's purpose and objectives within 1 page.
Enter Budget Info: Complete Budget Module as per Team Grants Guidelines. Provide detailed budget justification, including cash contributions and release time allowance; Attach Other App Materials:Certificate of Completion of Sex and Gender Based Analysis training module; Indigenous self-declaration and/or evidence of involvement with Indigenous Peoples statement (if applicable); Applicant Partner COI Document (if applicable); Participant Table (mandatory) - Upload under "Participant Table."
Identify Application Partners — Upload Partner Info (if applicable): Submit Partnership Details form and Partner Letter for each contributing partner.
Complete Peer Review Admin Info (optional): List potential reviewers with relevant expertise.
Manage Access (optional): NPA can delegate access to support application. Access doesn't carry over stages.
Print Signature Pages: Signatures required for all but Collaborators and Institution Paid. Scanned signed pages and Routing Slip uploaded prior to submission.

CanExport SMEs

Amount of Funding

Up to 50% funding to a maximum $50,000 grant per project;
Applicants may receive up to 50% of eligible costs for up to $10,000 to $50,000 in grant funding per project;
The applicant is responsible for the remaining 50% of costs;
The annual CanExport contribution maximum is $99,999 (in the event of multiple projects approved in the same government fiscal year);
A group of related companies cannot receive >$200,000 in funding in a single fiscal year. Projects budgets should be between $20,000-100,000; and
Applicants can apply for funding multiple times as long as their prior CanExport application has been completed all reporting is finished.

CanExport SMEs

Eligible Applicants

To be eligible for the CanExport program, Canadian businesses must:

Maintain 1 to <500 full-time employees;
Earn annual revenues ranging from $100,000 to $100,000,000;
Be federally incorporated federally or classified as a limited liability partnership (LLP);
Create eligible project expenses of $20,000 or more; and
Be financially stable and able to pay all project expenses not covered by the program.
