Team Grant: Lung Health

  1. Participant Identification: List participants in "Identify Participants." Ensure eligibility compliance. Participants must submit CVs. Specific CV requirements based on participant type:Canadian academic applicants: CIHR Biosketch CV using CCV interface. Knowledge users, non-academics, Indigenous orgs, international applicants: CIHR Biosketch or Applicant Profile CV (max 3 pages); Persons with lived/living experience: Include relevant experiences in Applicant Profile CV.
  2. Attachments: Upload Applicant Profile CVs as labeled PDFs. Optional: Provide "Most Significant Contributions" (max 1 page; Proposal Info: Research Proposal must cover objectives and evaluation criteria. French proposals allowed additional pages. Page limits: English: 15 pages; French: 18 pages
  3. Summary of Research Proposal: Summarize proposal in 1 page. Indicate most relevant Research Area.
  4. Budget Info: Provide detailed budget justification for all budget items, including cash contributions and release time allowance. Upload release time allowance letter as "Other Supporting Documents." Attach Other App Materials: Upload the following under "Other":Certificate of Completion for sex- and gender-based analysis training modules; Data Management Plan (mandatory for most applicants); Data and Biosample Governance Plan (mandatory for specific funding pool); Team Member's statement of Indigenous experience (if applicable); Applicant Partner COI Document (if applicable; Participant Table – Upload under "Participant Table"; Publications (optional) – upload under "Publications"; Letters of Collaboration (if applicable) – upload under "Letter of Collaboration"; Identify Application Partners (optional) – Upload Partner Information:Complete "Partnership Details" form for each contributing partner; Upload signed "Partner Letter" describing contributions
  5. Complete Peer Review Admin Info: Suggest potential reviewers with expertise; Apply to Priority Announcements/Funding Pools (Research Area):Select relevant funding opportunity and Research Area; Describe how proposal addresses chosen Research Area (half-page).
  6. Manage Access (optional): NPA can delegate access to support application. Delegation doesn't carry over stages.
  7. Print/Upload Signature Pages: Signature requirements: Nominated Principal Applicant (NPA): Not required for ResearchNet submissions; Others: Include signatures, individual(s) with signing authority from Institution Paid; Upload scanned signed signature pages and Routing Slip in "Print/Upload Signature Pages" task before submission.
